I have as yet been unable to perfect the dark art of composting. It's a learning experience for me. I have mastered the Bokashi bin, but I get the feeling that it's not a hard one to master.

What book is that?

And I encourage any guests in our house who are brave enough to bless our lemon trees with their 'liquid gold'! I am convinced that it is making a difference.

ha ha, great!

to be honest I don't know how my compost is going to turn out, I am adding to the pile (alternating green and brown materials) but not doing any turning or poking, so the pile will take anything up to 6 months to turn into compost.
we'll see!

the book is 'backyard composting' by john roulac.

you should check this podcast out ;)

Well, you are doing better than me. I just chuck everything on there as it comes and hope for the best. My mum has one of those turning compost bins and that seems to work very well. I'm old school like you, though. Just a heap at the bottom of my garden!

I'll have to listen to that podcast. Thanks!

Have a lovely weekend. :)
